Program Duration:

Our program runs approximately 40 hours per week, June through mid-August.

What you will do:

Are you passionate about crafting meaningful communications that connect with people? We are looking for a Member Communications and Engagement Intern to join our team and help shape how we engage with members. This role offers hands-on experience in communications strategy, project management, and creative development while working on projects that directly impact our members' experience.

This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a dynamic, purpose-driven team.

Your Responsibilities:
As part of the Member Engagement team, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Assist with developing impactful member communications.
  • Support projects through creative processes, feedback cycles, and approvals.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to align on strategies and materials.
  • Learn and implement tools for managing workflows and tracking progress.
  • Share updates and celebrate wins with the team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Sophomore standing as of Summer 2025

  • Business, Communications, Writing majors or related majors

Preferred:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
  • Interest in member engagement, communications, and marketing.
  • A proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with presentation tools like PowerPoint and collaborative platforms like Microsoft Teams or similar.
  • A creative mindset and eagerness to contribute ideas.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00 - $24.00 Hourly

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
