Does Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota attend career fairs?


Yes, we participate in various career fairs throughout the year. You can check here for an updated list of career fairs.

  • People of Color Career Fair on Wednesday, April 24th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Check out the People of Color Career Fair website to sign up and learn more.

How can I check my application status?

You may check the status of your application at any time by logging into your candidate profile using the same username and password set at the time of your initial application. You may reset your password if forgotten. After your interview, you may reach out to your Talent Advisor for any feedback and updates.

Who can I contact for general questions about the hiring process?

For questions on specific job opportunities, reach out to the Talent Advisor listed on a specific job posting. You will find their email and LinkedIn listed on each posting.

Does Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota offer remote roles or flexible working arrangements?

Yes. We recognize the importance of flexible work options by supporting remote and hybrid workstyles.

How can I receive email alerts when new jobs are posted?

What's your interview process?

If you are selected for an interview, the initial screen will take place over a video call or phone conversation with a Talent Advisor to learn more about your background and qualifications. Hiring teams will complete additional interviews as needed. Interview invitations will have information attached about where/how your interview will take place, who you are interviewing with, the job description and additional resources to help you prepare. 

How can I prepare for my interview?

We use behavioral-based and technical questions during the interview. Here are a few tips to help you best prepare: 

    • Prepare 2-3 scenarios that can answer a variety of behavioral-based questions.
    • Practice and use the STAR method as a guide to structure your answers (Situation, Task, Action, Result).
    • Think of projects or events you have worked on in past experiences that would benefit you in the role.
    • If interviewing virtually, come prepared with a fully charged computer and a quiet space with limited distractions.

What should I wear to the interview?

We suggest dressing in business casual. Most importantly, wear what makes you comfortable and confident to make a great first impression.

What can I expect for my in-person/video interview?

Your meeting invite will have information attached about where/how your interview will take place, who you are interviewing with, the job description and an overview document about Blue Cross.
