Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring a Treasury & Investment Coordinator in Eagan, MN. The Coordinator will provide administrative support for the strategic priorities of the Vice President of Treasury & Chief Investment Officer. By coordinating key activities, managing critical information flows, and ensuring smooth execution of initiatives to help advance the organization’s capital, liquidity, and investment objectives. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and the ability to work seamlessly across departments and with external partners.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and dependable professional with a strong interest in finance, banking, or treasury operations. Proven experience in coordination, scheduling, and operational support within a fast-paced, technical environment is strongly preferred. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while handling sensitive and confidential information.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage schedules, priorities, and deliverables for Treasury and Investment initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare, format, track presentations, reports, and data summaries for executive leadership review for board, related committees, and other meetings.
  • Support treasury and investment transaction processes by coordinating documentation, meeting logistics, and follow-up actions.
  • Manage project timelines and key deliverables, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling or workflow conflicts.
  • Serve as a liaison between Treasury & Investment leadership, internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Coordinate materials, travel, meeting arrangements, and external engagements (i.e., asset managers, rating agencies, banks, brokers, etc.) related to Treasury and Investment priorities.
  • Maintain organized and accessible records, including bank and custodial accounts, investment documentation, credit facilities, banking agreements and other confidential reports.
  • Provide supporting back-up and coordination of materials for audit requests, insurance, banks, investors, and other requests.
  • Track and reconcile expenses, budgets, and departmental invoices.
  • Support special projects and ad-hoc initiatives for Treasury and Investment leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to advance team priorities.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4 years of professional related experience; all relevant experience (including work, education, transferable skills, and military service) will be considered.
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; ability to quickly learn other financial or workflow tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with senior leaders, internal, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion given the nature of the work with sensitive bank and investment accounts to prevent fraud.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibits competence in managing multiple stakeholders to ensure deliverables are met to ensure seamless completion of projects and/or priorities.
  • Demonstrates acumen to understand the organization, policies and processes quickly.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and proactively solve problems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, investments, finance, or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools.
  • Proven experience in administrative support or similar role - including experience with calendaring and coordinating travel. 

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $26.57 - $33.21 - $39.85 Hourly

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.

Our hybrid approach is designed to balance flexibility with meaningful in-person connection and collaboration. We come together in the office two days each week – most teams designate at least one anchor day to ensure team interaction. These in-person moments foster relationships, creativity, and alignment.
