As part of the Operations Training and Quality team, the Ops Learning Support Specialist will play a vital role in helping Operations associates drive our enterprise’s strategic pillars of advocacy, empowering our people, and market leadership. This role will facilitate and support learning experiences and assist with content development to ensure that our associates have the critical skills needed to find success in their roles in Operations and meet our member and customer needs.

Your Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and provide technical support in a classroom environment for internal and vendor training classes in Operations.
  • Train learners effectively in the assigned class on the assigned topics by establishing trust and delivering clear messaging by tailoring all communication to the topic and audience.
  • Monitor and assess learner progress, providing timely communication and details notes for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion by embracing diversity in the classroom and all learning environments. Effectively manage and maintain relationships with learners in the classroom, peers, supervisors designated for the class, and Leadership.
  • Plan and coordinate with Leadership and business partners for classroom and training logistics, including but not limited to assigning online training, managing classroom training schedule, sending confirmations, and emailing participants materials.
  • May assist in designing learning content via video, eLearning, AI etc. for both remote and in-person settings.
  • Learn, navigate, and adapt to content changes based on updated curriculum, processes, or laws and regulations, while displaying credibility and delivering updates with impact to learners.
  • Partners with content developers to ensure learning content is current, accurate, and meets the objectives of our business partners and stakeholders. Ensure that all materials presented meet format and brand standards.
  • Assists in the upkeep of document libraries and SharePoint sites.
  • Participates in other projects and workgroups as subject matter experts as assigned.
  • This position may require international travel.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be nimble, calm, curious, reliable and engaged.
  • Classroom management and interpersonal skills for supporting class and working with others in their role as an Instructor.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Solid understanding of the virtual delivery platform (Teams, Zoom). This includes complete knowledge of the features, functions, and capacities.
  • Ability to learn technology quickly and provide technical support, such as troubleshooting and resolving common issues for learners.
  • Ability to train for 8-9 consecutive hours a day while still being dynamic and meeting expectations of the role, class, and learners.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a high-performing team with consistent openness to change.
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Proficiency in navigating virtual delivery platforms to manage content and interactive activities.
  • Proficient with IVLT Technologies (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and the various pedagogies around Adult Learning (ISD Models, Universal Design, ADDIE, MPI, etc.).
  • Understanding of curriculum design and adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, background in insurance, understanding of health insurance, and the healthcare system.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $77,600.00 - $95,200.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
