The Impact You Will Have
We are looking for passionate, hard-working health payer technologists who can help us build innovative experiences that will support BlueCross’s mission to inspire change, transform care and improve health for the people we serve.The person in this role will leveragehealth care domain and technical experienceanalyze and documentsystem requirements and driveagile deliveryof technology systems to internal and external stakeholders.
A Day in the Life:
Documentsystem requirements for a variety of systems that make up the BlueCross claims payer ecosystem. Technologiesleveraged includebut are not limited to Facets, Salesforce, Pega, and internally built cloud-based applicationsand web portals using SQL, AWS, Azure, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
Act as scrum master and delivery coordinatoron one or more scrum teams to apply agile delivery concepts to iteratively deliver value to business partners and customers.
Work with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, developers, technical leadership to analyze and plan technology solutions for business needs.
Apply health care data domain and technical knowledge to technical problem solving, triaging of incidents, and debug issues.
Help translate business needs into and technical solution designs.
Contribute innovative solutions that leverage generative AI and cloud technology while utilizing best practices, design standards, and governance.
Help plan and/or perform system administration activities including data loading, data migration/conversion, data clean-up tasks, system integration monitoring, etc.
Research technology trends and contribute to designs and platform decisions.
Mentor, lead, train other team members.
This job may include on-call duties.
Nice to Have:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies.
In depth prototype design and implementation experience.
Experience with:SQL, ETL(e.g., Glue, Talend), Cloud (Azure, AWS), GitLab, Jira, Microsoft Teams, ServiceNow, data modeling, requirements gathering.
Experience with claims processing systems, internally developed web portals and APIs, Salesforce or other CRM.
Experience with system integrations (real-time, batch, API, streaming)
Worked in an organization of 250 or more users with experience providing user support, training, and data cleanup and/or data migration.
Required Skills and Experiences:
5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) – required within 1 year of employment.
Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills.
Strong configuration and administration experience with: Systems, Pega Workflow, Pega Robotics, SAP, ServiceNow, Salesforce.
Knowledge, experience, and familiarity with requirements documentation including detailed technical mapping.
High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
