The Impact You Will Have

Join Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s Care Model Identification & Stratification (IDS) Product Team and play a key role in shaping how members are connected to the right care at the right time. As a Product Analyst, you will partner with business and technical teams to build and enhance the identification and stratification logic that drives care management outreach campaigns. You will gather and translate business requirements, support implementation efforts, and help ensure data-driven solutions are delivered accurately and efficiently. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence initiatives across Care Model and Behavioral Health product teams while helping remove critical operational bottlenecks and accelerate decision-making. We are seeking a curious, analytical professional with approximately three years of relevant experience and a strong data mindset. • Partner with Operations, Product, and Data & Analytics teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve data-related challenges, and support the successful delivery of care management initiatives.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis and member identification activities, applying inclusion/exclusion criteria, stratification rules, and business logic to support program development, outreach, and decision-making.
  • Develop and validate member identification methodologies and clinical indicators, enabling Care Model and Behavioral Health teams to target appropriate populations while supporting efficient project execution and reducing barriers to delivery.

  • Help Product Owner and scrum team to plan work in upcoming sprints, considering a variety of factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts
  • Help document the technology/business needs into product backlog stories/items.
  • Attends sprint ceremonies and is available to team during the sprint for clarifications and acceptance of user stories.
  • Aid where needed throughout sprints for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy.
  • Maintain technical documentation of system and business processes.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
  • Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.
