The Impact You Will Have

The Content Developer is essential in building, managing, and maintaining training curriculum and content through various formats (ex… e-learnings, AI generated simulations, and videos). Collaborating with Instructional Designers and Business Partners, this role develops and delivers training solutions that equip associates with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The Content Developer actively supports the Ops Training team and fulfills the responsibilities of a Training Support Specialist when in the classroom.

Your Responsibilities

  • Translate concepts into actionable training content. This will include delivery and design of multiple forms of learning content including elearnings, videos, facilitator guides, and learner materials for all training classes. Support and classroom facilitation up to 25% with the remaining 75% of time spent on creating learning content and materials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and provide effective training solutions. Participate in cross functional work groups and on project teams based on areas of expertise to represent training needs.
  • Effectively manage and maintain relationships with peers, supervisors designated for the class, Company Leadership, and other business partners.
  • Implement training solutions to enhance business outcomes and associate experiences. Demonstrate resilience under pressure and maintains focus.
  • Conduct excellent time management, coordination, collaboration, adaptability and communication skills. Keep the ‘Learning Experience and Customer Experience in mind while considering the impact of words and actions on consumers.
  • Create and facilitate training resources, leveraging industry best practices. Participate fully in floor observations and immersions; to ensure credibility in the classroom and empathetic understanding of our member needs.
  • Earn and maintain the confidence and trust of others by respecting confidences and commitments.
  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy. Maintain competent performance in ambiguous situations and under pressure.

  • Oversee onboarding and training courses, implementing improvements based on data analysis and customer feedback to enhance training effectiveness.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, SharePoint, One Note, etc. Proficiency in communication tools, such as Teams, Zoom, and Skype.
  • Problem solving Embrace diversity: Works effectively with and values individuals of diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities and cultures.; models company values/leadership commitments
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and curriculum design.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt under pressure and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
  • This position may require occasional travel to vendor sites domestically and internationally
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a high-performing team with consistent openness to change.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and deliver high-quality and modernized training content based on business need.
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Over 4 years training background via schooling, and/or previous work experience, and/or equivalent military experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, background in insurance, understanding of health insurance, and/or knowledge of the healthcare system.
  • Proficient with IVLT Technologies (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and the various pedagogies around Adult Learning (ISD Models, Universal Design, ADDIE, MPI, etc.).
  • Experience using a wide variety of training tools to effectively facilitate to a wide audience.
  • Understanding of curriculum design and adult learning principles.
  • Experience or interest in content building and LMS platforms, such as Articulate, Camtasia, Zenerate, etc

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $67,200.00 - $89,100.00 - $111,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
