The Impact You Will Have

As our Executive Protection Manager, you will be responsible for managing the physical security of the CEO. You will conduct proactive physical threat assessments, secure travel coordination with our external security team to provide an enhanced executive protection program with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, and healthcare-related risk awareness.  You will also handle travel and event assessments for other executive divisional leaders.    

Your Responsibilities

  • Close Protection: Work with external security teams to provide discreet, professional personal security to the CEO, particularly during public appearances, industry conferences, and sensitive business operations based on risk level.

  • Healthcare-Specific Threat Monitoring: Identify and assess physical threats related to healthcare policy changes, public protests, data breaches, or regulatory scrutiny.

  • Advance Planning: Conduct site assessments and coordinate logistics for executive travel to healthcare facilities, government meetings, and payer-provider negotiations.

  • Secure Transportation: Work with contracted driving service to plan and execute secure travel routes, including contingency planning for high-risk areas or events. 

  • Emergency Preparedness: Review, develop and implement emergency response protocols working closely with Corporate Safety teams.

  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Ensure strict confidentiality of executive movements and sensitive business information.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal security teams, legal, compliance departments, and external law enforcement or venue security as needed.

  • Technology Utilization: Use surveillance, GPS tracking, and communication tools to maintain real-time situational awareness.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or corporate security, preferably in healthcare or regulated industries. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.

  • Experience providing executive protection at the CEO level.

  • Familiarity with the healthcare industry dynamics, including payer-provider relationships and regulatory environments.

  • Experience with physical threat assessments

  • Training in first aid/CPR

  • Strong situational awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong discretion, judgment, and ability to operate in high-pressure environments.

  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with security, event, legal, compliance, and risk management teams.

  • Proficiency with security technology and incident reporting systems.

  • Certifications such as PPS (Personal Protection Specialist), EMT, or equivalent

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
