The Impact You Will Have
As the Talent Advisor, you will coach and consult with hiring leaders and groups through the full life cycle recruiting process. We strive to provide best in class candidate and hiring manager experiences. The Talent Advisor will navigate being an advocate for the candidates, managers, and the business. This role will support multiple areas of the organization and help leaders find the best talent for the role.
Your Responsibilities
Facilitate meetings to actively influence and advise hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
Utilizes innovative sourcing skills to find diverse talent for open roles and to build strong talent benches.
Champions diversity efforts and integrates those efforts into the staffing process to ensure diverse candidate slates and to eliminate bias.
Advocates for candidates, encouraging managers to include internal candidates with transferable skills.
Provides data insights HR business partners and hiring managers and recommends new approaches to ensure recruiting goals are met.
Leverages applicant tracking (Workday), online recruiting sources and social media technology tools to locate, engage, and hire prospective candidates.
Manages and/or participates in recruiting projects dedicated to workforce planning, improving hiring processes, raising the brand presence, or related.
Be a proactive brand ambassador and participate in networking events, community initiatives, and professional associations to source new talent, develop talent benches, and build employment brand.
Conducts phone screening of candidates.
Enters or updates data into applicant tracking software.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
Knowledge of the local and national labor market, including current trends in employment and diversity recruiting.
Experience in sourcing.
Relationships with diversity organizations and/or associations.
In this role you will be required to obtain industry certification related to diversity recruiting within 90 days of starting. Acceptable certifications are offered through Textio, LinkedIn, SHRM, and other Professional Organizations. Existing diverse recruiting certifications may suffice.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (preferably Workday) and social media channels.
Knowledge of federal and state employment law, compensation, diversity, EEO, Affirmative Action and ADA.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically.
Data driven mindset with ability to glean insights and recommendations from analysis and present findings in a clear, concise way.
Exhibit a thirst for continuous learning and passion in recruiting and discovering and exploiting new candidate channels focused on building diverse candidate slates.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree.
Agency or corporate recruiting experience.
Diversity recruitment experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $77,600.00 - $95,200.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
