The Impact You Will Have


This position is responsible for oversite of network partner and vendor relationships and vendor impact to Provider Relations. This position collects information and makes recommendations that influence the network optimization strategy. In addition, this role is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, communicating and supporting the network needs of internal key stakeholders in the various market and business segments. This highly visible role serves as a facilitator of the network optimization and innovation strategy of network partner and vendor relationships and internal market/business segment network initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the point person for network engagement with assigned market/business segments and vendors.
  • Participate in the development of strategy and innovative network solutions that impact Provider Relations and applicable market/business segments.
  • Maintain current understanding of market forces impacting network and market segments.
  • Develop presentations highlighting findings, analysis, recommendations and action plans.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external entities/vendors as needed to collaborate on projects designed to meet goal objectives.
  • Communicates and collaborates with assigned vendors to ensure they are properly educated on Blue Cross expectations throughout the life cycle of the relationship.
  • Create timelines and action plans that facilitate strategy implementation and issue identification.
  • Develops and implements a communication plan in conjunction with leadership and to support the initiative including communicating to key internal stakeholders.
  • Secures resources and contributions for successful completion of projects.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with vendors for on-going oversite and management of their contractual requirements.
  • Represent Provider Relations and participate in key stakeholder work groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experiences

  • 7+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to build strong relationships.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation skills, and influence skills.
  • Network Management and/or Healthcare Related Sales Experience
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
