Product Analyst - Care Management

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN is hiring a Product Analyst to join our Care Management team in Eagan, MN. In this role you will support Transition of Care, Maternity and Core/Complex/Gender/Transplant programs. You will be responsible for will research and prioritize high-value feature opportunities, maintain a healthy product backlog, and perform regular assessments to measure product performance against established goals and benchmarks. In this role you will be a liaison between data insights, reporting, member and provider analytics, population health, and vendor integration. Key responsibilities include maintaining the RFP library, updating program descriptions, project management, andpartnering with marketing on thecreation of member-facing content. The analyst will also manage regulatory compliance for member communications and assist in providing concise responses to RFPs and RFIs.
This role is hybrid, 2 days a week in office, out of Eagan, MN.
A Day InThe Life
Responsible for gathering and interpreting data from various sources, identifying key insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive product development and enhancement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize emerging customer/user problems, ensuring the team is always focused on delivering impactful solutions.
Create meaningful insights to help drive product development, solving problems that add value to our members and customers.
Collaborate with team(s) and Stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by the Product Manager or Product Owner (business).
Work with a variety of internal and external partners to elicit and document business requirements for user stories.
Help Product Owner and scrum team to plan work in upcoming sprints, considering a variety of factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts
Help document the technology/business needs into product backlog stories/items.
Attend sprint ceremonies and is available to team during the sprint for clarifications and acceptance of user stories.
Aid where needed throughout sprints for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy.
Maintain technical documentation of system and business processes.
Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.
Required Skills & Experiences
3+ years of related (Product Analyst) professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Progressing toward one of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe PM/PO or CSM
Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Experience with writing business/functional requirements and Agile methodologies
Solid written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties
Exposure to process improvement with high level of execution focus preferred.
Nice To Have
Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field, business, technical degreeor a relevant field
Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry
Experience in care management or EHR programs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $67,200.00 - $89,100.00 - $111,000.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
