Intern - Sales Operations

Program Duration
Our program runs approximately 40 hours per week, June 1st through mid‑August.
The Impact You Will Have
In this internship, you will work with the 2–99 Commercial Sales Team, supporting new sales, renewal business, and account support activities for our small group and middle‑market clients. This role provides hands‑on exposure to sales operations, account management processes, and internal systems that directly support our customers and organizational goals.
Your Responsibilities
Support the team by running scheduled and ad hoc reports.
Lead and assist in updates to a team‑wide resource by curating content, reviewing materials, and creating job aids for processes and tasks.
Assist the Sales and Account Management Team with the technology and tools used for quoting new business, implementing new groups, managing renewals, and maintaining membership information.
Manage multiple projects assigned by Sales and Account Management leadership, collaborating with Account Managers, Account Advisors, and internal partners to support service requests and customer needs.
Required Skills and Experiences
To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
Must be enrolled in an educational program for the duration of the internship.
Completed at least one year (2 semesters or credits equivalent) by the start of the internship
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization.
Ability to gather, categorize, and prioritize information.
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a customer service orientation
Willingness to take initiative and learn new concepts and technical skills
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including being on-site at least 2 days per week.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $22.50 - $23.50 - $24.50 Hourly
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
