The Impact You Will Have
This position is responsible for activities associated with the credentialing process and completing the set-up and maintenance of practitioner and provider information in the provider credentialing system. These activities will adhere to regulatory agency credentialing requirements, such as National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), Department of Human Services (DHS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) and TRIWEST.
Your Responsibilities
- Determine credentialing status by screening and assessing all credentialing materials.
- Research, analyze and process routine credentialing cases.
- Set up and maintain accurate provider and practitioner information in the provider credentialing system.
- Respond to customers regarding provider and practitioner eligibility and credentialing decisions and/or related issues.
- Maintain credentialing quality and production performance metrics.
- Contribute to process improvements to ensure an efficient operation.
- Special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Experiences
- 4+ years of related experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
- 1 year experience in the area of Provider Credentialing Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
- Detail-oriented with a quality focus.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $21.00 - $26.25 - $31.50 Hourly
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
