The Impact You Will Have
In this position, you will be responsible for the analysis, development, support, reporting and coordination of business workflow automation and tools to maximize transactional capacity at an enterprise level. The incumbent partners with enterprise stakeholders to identify application (tools), automation needs, develop system or reporting solutions and manage related change functions. Additional responsibilities include: operational level scenario definition, data collection and analysis of workflow simulation resulting in automation and/or reporting metrics. This position reports up through Business Support Services.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate on business projects or workgroups to maintain business solutions: including business automation, increased efficiencies and data repositories.
- Analyzes operational data, procedures and business needs to maintain system solutions.
- Performs scripting, coding, creation of decision tables and workflow automation within assigned tools or applications such as: Super Op, Pega, ISYL, IT2B-BEM, Access etc.
- Follows documented methods and models to support solutions including deployment and execution of test plans within an application.
- Partner with stakeholders to follow documented change management processes for the purposes of maintenance and assigned deliverables to achieve efficiencies.
- Partners with Information Technology organization to maintain deliverables for system integration, data integrity and security.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors degree in business or related field or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years experience in health insurance process improvement and/or IT experience.
- Proven experience with business workflow automation technology, application design, data/business analysis.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills to partner with business and IT on system/automation solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to express complex business concepts in clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and cross functional facilitation abilities.
- Ability to comprehend high level concepts, and then drill down concepts to actionable, granular level detail.
- Strong business background and technical aptitude to bridge interpretation gap between business needs and technical solutions.
- Proven ability to manage a variety of concurrent assignment.
- Strong personal computing skills with emphasis on Word, VISIO and/or Access and Excel.
- High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with business workflow automation technology, application design, database design and data analysis knowledge.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Visual basic, HTML and tools such as SAS and Cognos.
- Experience with AutoHotKey or other robotic process automation tools.
- Experience with development of formal business processes and rule methodologies.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and logic skills to create business requirements and develop rule statements, decision tables, and other rule automation events.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $91,300.00 - $113,700.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
