Program Duration
Our internship program runs approximately 40 hours per week, from June 1 through mid-August.
The Impact You Will Have
This role is responsible for supporting the Proposals and Client Intelligence team in responding to complex, time-sensitive requests for proposals (RFPs) from commercial employer clients and prospects seeking information on Blue Cross products and services. The team also supports vital relationships with healthcare consultants and brokers by completing extensive requests for information (RFIs) throughout the year.The role provides opportunities for hands‑on collaboration with sales and account management teams, as well as subject matters experts from across the enterprise.
Your Responsibilities
Actively shadow and assist the Proposals and Client Intelligence team with tasks related to producing sales proposals and associated materials
Assist with managing specific projects including assessing client/prospect requests and developing deliverables.
Identify and support administrative and operational efficiencies
Required Skills and Experiences
To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
Organizational and project management skills
Must be enrolled in an educational program for the duration of the internship
Completed at least one year (two semesters or credits equivalent) by the start of the internship
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required
Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint a plus
Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and a customer service orientation
Willingness to take initiative and learn new concepts and technical skills
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, including being on-site at least two days per week.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $22.50 - $23.50 - $24.50 Hourly
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
