Description Summary

This position is primarily responsible for day-to-day operational product support for the health spending accounts portfolio and the value-added portfolio. The value-added portfolio is currently in development.



 



This position will be responsible for working with the key internal teams (including sales, operations, IT, marketing, finance, etc.) to drive the product plan execution and go to market operational readiness.  This will include, but not be limited to leading cross functional implementation initiatives, product launch support, providing tactical support to product managers, leading the go to market readiness process for the product team, serving as product expert resource to the internal organization and supporting annual planning activities. Additionally, this position provides support for strategic planning coordination and implementation efforts.


Accountabilities


  1. Partners with the appropriate teams (including IT, marketing, project management, operations, etc.) to advance product plan execution of the health spending accounts and value-added portfolios.

  2. Partners with product managers who have outlined market, business and product requirements and then leads the cross functional effort to translate the work to technical product requirements.

  3. Leads the go to market operational readiness for the Product team and drives the overall project in partnership with project management and marketing.

  4. Provides support to strategic planning coordination and execution efforts.

  5. Provides tactical support to the product managers.

  6. Serves as Product subject matter expert to help triage operational issues with key internal teams and vendors.

  7. Active participant in the development and execution of annual planning activities.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years' work experience in product management, financial services, healthcare, sales, marketing, or related field. 

  • 2 years' experience managing complex projects involving multiple team members and including task assignment, working with key stakeholders (internal or external), leading teams and customer relationships and managing project deliverables. 

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple audiences (internally – various levels of management; externally – healthcare professional, business people, and consumers). 

  • Proven experience in developing and executing winning product plans to deliver corporate objectives. 

  • Skilled at managing products through stage gate development process.

  • Ability to drive results in a complex and often ambiguous environment. 

  • Proven experience in managing products in a highly regulated environment while meeting overall corporate objectives. 

  • Self-directed, ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a timely manner. 

  • Self- directed to expand industry best practices to extend to Further. 


Preferred Requirements


  • MBA preferred. 

  • Product management discipline expertise preferred.
