A benefits package that extends far beyond your paycheck

You will have a comprehensive benefits packages to keep you and your family healthy and to plan for your financial future. You and your family are eligible for benefits on the day you begin working with us. We also provide a variety of health and wellness programs to help you balance the demands of work and your personal life.

Medical coverage

We offer four medical plans (one plan allows a health savings account) to meet your needs. The number of medical plan choices is above and beyond what most other companies offer their associates. Our plans have different provider networks with out-of-pocket expenses at different levels to meet your needs. Plus, the company pays a large portion of the premium cost. 

Dental coverage

Choose from two dental plans; both include 100 percent coverage for preventive care. One plan has a modest premium while the other plan is offered free of charge to associates (the company pays the entire premium for coverage).

Life insurance plans

You’ll automatically receive life insurance equal to your annual pay or $50,000, whichever is greater, as no cost to you (the company pays the entire cost of this benefit). If desired, you can buy additional life insurance coverage for you and your family.

Flexible spending accounts

With a convenient medical and dependent-care spending accounts, you can set aside money from your paycheck to pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses. You do not pay taxes on the money you put into your account.

Disability protection

Our long-term and short-term disability options protect your income at 60% of your pay if you can’t work because of an illness or injury. The company pays the entire premium for these benefits.

Retirement benefits

We offer several ways to help you secure your future:

  • We automatically set-up a Cash Balance Retirement account where the company contributes 4% of your annual pay and bonus. It doesn't cost you a penny and once you have completed three or more years of service, you are free to take these dollars with you.
  • Our 401(k) plan lets you save up to 35 percent of your pay through payroll deduction (subject to IRS limitations) either pre-tax, post-tax or a combination of both. And then as a company, we match “dollar for dollar” up to the first 3 percent you contribute. We then match 50 cents on the dollar for the next 2 percent. You are immediately vested and are free to take the company match with you if you decide to leave the company (no waiting period).
  • For associates who meet age and service requirements, we also offer a retiree medical plan program.

PTO and VPTO

You earn paid time off (PTO) each pay period, based on your years of service. Use it however you wish. You also get 8 paid holidays each year. Plus, you receive 20 paid hours of volunteer paid time-off (VPTO) each year — after you’ve been here six months — making it easy to give back to the community while saving your PTO time for you and your family.

Health and wellness programs

To help you reach your health goals, we offer a variety of health wellness programs to help you and your family.  A few of our programs are:

  • Onsite Flu Shots (no cost)
  • Maternity Management (part of medical plan)
  • Doctor on Demand, provides video consultation with a licensed physician via a mobile app (part of medical plan)
  • Omada, online program to inspire healthy eating habits (no cost)
  • Learn to Live, online program for stress, anxiety and depression
  • Diabetes Management (medical plan pays for labs, supplies and drugs at 100% by meeting program criteria)
  • Sharecare, our exclusive program builds members knowledge of health, encourages members with risks to take small steps to improve health, encourages healthy members to continue to engage in healthy behaviors and encourages long-term engagement in programs/solutions (no cost)
